Developer + designer
About
A website should not only look good. It should have a clear purpose.
I’m Jani — a designer and developer combining visual direction, technical execution, and practical thinking about what a website should actually achieve for a business.
How I think
My advantage is the combination of design, development, and business thinking.
Design and code
I can design the visual direction and also build it. That reduces friction between design and development.
Goal-oriented thinking
I don’t approach websites only as visuals. I care about who they serve, what they explain, and what action users should take.
Custom systems
Beyond presentation websites, I have experience with Django backends, e-commerce, automations, and internal systems.
Long-term quality
I care about a clean foundation, performance, SEO, maintainability, and the ability to improve the website later.
Experience
I’m not just someone who assembles landing pages.
Python & Django
I have experience with backend development, REST APIs, Django Oscar, databases, integrations, and production systems.
Modern frontend
I work with modern technologies such as Next.js, Astro, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
E-commerce and automation
I have worked on e-commerce stores, payments, invoices, exports, service integrations, bulk product editing, and automation.
Own business experience
I also run my own handmade e-commerce stores, so I understand that a website is not just a technical output, but a sales tool.
Collaboration
I work in a way that gives the project direction, structure, and results.
01
Goal
First, we clarify what the website should achieve, who it serves, and what users need to understand.
02
Design
I design the visual direction, structure, and UX so the website feels professional and trustworthy.
03
Development
I build the website with a focus on responsiveness, performance, SEO foundations, and clean implementation.
04
Launch
After completion, I handle deployment, testing, analytics, and possible further improvements.
